Description
Built Curvance's company blog (https://blog.curvance.com) and Payload CMS publishing system from scratch as lead developer, and moved the lending application (https://app.curvance.com) to Next.js 16.
Key Responsibilities
- Built the company blog, blog.curvance.com (https://blog.curvance.com), from scratch as its lead developer and optimized it for search engines and AI crawlers, merging 45 pull requests (Astro)
- Built the CMS behind it with Google sign-in and per-author permissions, and added 172 of its 174 tests (Payload, PostgreSQL)
- Moved the lending app (https://app.curvance.com) to Next.js 16 and its newer router, keeping it static; cut 493 dead files (~55k lines) and 30 packages
- Added its first end-to-end tests (12 Cypress specs, one later gating releases), rebuilt unit tests (37 Vitest files)
- Fixed a two-year-old bug in 10 data hooks that corrupted users' transaction history, and ran an accessibility pass that restored pinch-to-zoom and added a skip link and keyboard controls (React)
